Emme Alice Lipscomb is a visual artist and musician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her work—dreamlike and haunting—explores the fragility of identity, memory, and their inconstant, shifting nature.
Her practice utilizes historic and alternative process photography, particularly cyanotype.
Her work is inspired by gothic novels, film noir, and Midwestern landscapes.
Emme studied filmmaking, production design and fine art photography at DePaul University, and received her BFA in 2020.
She currently resides in northeastern Wisconsin.
