Church of the Assumption in Tarnobrzeg’s Painting of Dzikowska Our Lady

Miracles

Pretending to pray because it looks better than

Using my phone in the pews

I'm only in here because it was cold out there

A church is always a good place to sit

Like when little Macauley Culkin goes at the end of the movie

And meets the evil old guy who turns out to be Santa or something

So I pretend to pray for my own evil old guy

Who will tell me my life

While his granddaughter sings in the choir

But my phone lights up because Julia Fox is live on Instagram

And I think about how far I’ve wandered with no food

I leave,

Thank God,

And I’m

Brought back to life by the miracles of a good sandwich

My grandma made the best version of that thing

If you’re addicted to cigarettes at least there’s always something to do

THE LAND OF THE BLESSED

THE BLONDE CAMARADERIE

THE WESTWARD GRAVEL PATH

THE HALF CIGARETTE

THE DEVIL-SENT MULLET AND

THE PURITANICAL PIXIE CUT

THE BLANK EXPRESSION ON

THE TIRED-OUT HEART

THE ASTHMATIC HUFF UP

THE HILL WHERE

THE KING BURIED HIS KNIGHTS

THE TRIUMPH OF

THE SUN SHINING UPON

THE GOLDEN FACES OF

THE BLESSED!
