Stimulant summer

turned into stimulant fall

It became useful to beg for forgiveness even if

you didn’t know what went wrong, or if anything actually did

It's not the tragedy of our time

but I'd say it's part of it

Poetry moves the mind,

alcohol moves the body

Ultimately, what would set me at total ease

would be something like a DoorDash handjob

and stranger on the street to recognize
